Customer Terms of Service
These terms apply to customers and visitors who use a Zimun-powered booking portal to book, view, update, or cancel appointments with a business.
1. Who these terms cover
These terms apply when you use a Zimun-powered booking portal, customer area, confirmation link, reminder link, cancellation flow, or related appointment feature to interact with a business that uses Zimun.
The business you book with is responsible for the actual service, staff, prices, availability, cancellation rules, refunds, and professional relationship. Zimun provides the technical scheduling platform.
2. Booking appointments
- You must provide accurate contact and appointment details so the business can confirm, manage, change, or cancel your appointment.
- A booking request may be subject to availability, business approval, staff assignment, branch selection, cancellation rules, or other policies set by the business.
- Appointment confirmations, reminders, updates, and cancellation messages are operational messages related to the service you requested.
- If you need to change, cancel, dispute, or ask questions about the actual service, contact the business directly unless the portal provides a self-service option.
3. Permitted use
- The booking portal is for real appointment activity only. Do not create false bookings, impersonate another person, use someone else's contact details without authority, or submit abusive, unlawful, or misleading content.
- Do not attempt to disrupt, scrape, overload, bypass security, access another person's appointments, or interfere with Zimun, the business, or other customers.
- Zimun or the business may block, cancel, limit, or investigate activity that appears fraudulent, abusive, unlawful, automated, or harmful to the service.
4. Payments, cancellations, and business policies
- Any prices, deposits, payment terms, cancellation windows, refund rules, late fees, no-show rules, or service conditions are set by the business unless Zimun expressly states otherwise.
- Zimun is not responsible for the quality, safety, legality, availability, pricing, cancellation handling, or refund handling of the service provided by the business.
- If the business uses external payment, calendar, messaging, or other tools, those tools may have their own terms and privacy policies.
5. Privacy and communications
- The Privacy Policy explains how personal information is collected, used, shared, retained, and protected when you use a Zimun-powered booking flow.
- For appointment information, the business is usually the controller of your information and Zimun processes it on the business's behalf.
- You may receive operational messages such as OTP codes, appointment confirmations, reminders, changes, cancellations, and security notices by SMS, email, phone, IVR, or other supported channels.
- If you choose to remember your details on a device, limited details may be stored locally to make future bookings easier. You can clear them through the portal flow or browser settings where available.
6. Availability and limitation of responsibility
- Zimun tries to keep booking flows available and reliable, but the portal may be unavailable, delayed, interrupted, or affected by technical or third-party issues.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, Zimun is not liable for indirect, consequential, special, punitive, or lost-opportunity damages arising from use of the booking portal or the business's service.
- Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be limited under mandatory consumer or privacy laws.
7. Changes, contact, and governing law
- Zimun may update these terms from time to time. The last updated date will appear at the top of the page.
- For privacy questions, contact privacy@zimun.app. For appointment, service, payment, cancellation, or refund questions, contact the business where the appointment was booked.
- Unless mandatory law provides otherwise, these terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, and the competent courts in Israel will have jurisdiction.
This document is intended to explain the main terms of using the service in clear language. For a specific legal question, professional advice should be obtained.
